As a South African Mining Engineer with over 50 years of experience on major projects in the mining and oil and gas industry globally, he has a solid understanding of the challenges and dynamics associated with multidisciplinary mega projects. His involvement in grass roots projects, commencing with feasibility studies and culminating in EPCM and commissioning, throughout Africa, Australasia, South and Noth America as well as the Middle East, has provided him with an appreciation of the enormity of managing complex engineering and logistical challenges and deadlines.
With over 30 years of experience in the energy and business sectors as well as holding both Board level and Senior Executive positions in organisations such as PetroSA, Central Energy Fund, Department of Minerals and Energy, SAD-Elect, iGas, Deloitte and most recently as Full-Time Member of the National Energy Regulator of South Africa, Mr Gumede brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Company. His involvement on the Intergovernmental Commissions for Mozambique and Namibia as well as his role in the drafting of legislation pertinent to the Electricity Industry in South Africa places him in a unique position to understand the National imperative, to guide the company forward into the future and to develop the business case for Nseleni Power Corporation.
As a South African Chemical Engineer with over 60 years of experience on not only the design and construction of major projects globally, Mr Annadale extensive experience in the executive management of major international companies and operations brings an invaluable insight into the execution of multi-disciplinary complex projects.
An accounting graduate from the University of KwaZulu Natal, he has over 20 years of experience in management and financial accounting. His extensive knowledge and expertise in computer systems, programming and AI systems together with his knowledge of security surveillance and firewall protection places him in a unique position to not only manage financial records and record keeping but more importantly the security of data. His involvement in mining project development and gas exploration in South Africa and Tanzania gives him a unique insight and perspective into both project cost accounting as well as financial management accounting.
As a young man and single father who has exchanged the political arena for education and knowledge, Mr Maduna has, under the guidance and sponsorship of the Chairman, completed his BCom studies in Mangaung Free State and is now about to embark on a journey of discovery in the corporate world. His role in corporate affairs and social responsibility will grow as his experience increases and his confidence flourishes.
With over 35 years’ experience in the Mining Consulting and Construction industry her knowledge of Environmental and Mining Legislation, coupled with her knowledge and expertise in corporate document control and CIPIC compliance, places her in a unique position to effectively manage the Head Office Administration functions. Having worked alongside the Chairman for over 15 years on various projects in the oil and gas and mining sectors both locally and overseas, her understanding of the philosophy of the Company and its long term objectives provides an invaluable central core of knowledge.
As a qualifies and Certificated Mechanical Engineer with over 25 years of experience on major projects around the world, both in design and construction, Peter brings a level of expertise and knowledge invaluable to the successful execution of the Anchor Energy/ Nseleni Project. His exposure to project management and project cost control equip him to ensure the timely completion of the project within budget.
With over 35 years of experience in the electrical field and 20 years with Eskom Transmission, Eduard is perfectly qualified to oversee the interface between Nseleni and National Transmission Company of South Africa (Eskom) ensuring a seamless integration into the National Control and Grid Network. As a High Voltage Substation specialist he is integral in the design and construction of the Nseleni 400kV substation in Richards Bay.
As a graduate Electrical Engineer with over 34 years of experience in sub-station design and construction for Eskom, Andre is ideally qualified to oversee the design standards for the Nseleni sub-station in Richards Bay and its integration into the National Transmission Company of South Africa’s National Grid.
